OLEA D3 PLUS is a supplement based on plant extracts and Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 contributes to the normal function of the immune system, participates in the process of cell division, contributes to the normal absorption / utilization of calcium and phosphorus, maintenance of normal blood calcium levels, maintenance of normal bones and maintenance of normal muscle function.

ADVICE ON USE:

it is recommended to take 1 drop once a day, or as advised by the doctor, under the tongue.

WARNINGS :

Keep out of the reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The product should be used as part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

NOTES :

ASSIMILATION : Strongly fat-soluble, it is absorbed at the duodenal and jejunal level. The formulation of Olea D3, using extra virgin olive oil, allows for maximum absorption. With a dosage of 10,000 IU per day, corresponding to 5 drops, administered during lunch, increases in serum levels from 20ng/ml to 80ng/ml in 3 months can be obtained (from clinical experience). Cholecalciferol has a half-life of 12-18 days, while 1-25(OH)2 cholecalciferol has a very short half-life and is not deposited in tissues. The 1α-hydroxylation process is limited, but this guarantees us protection from a possible intoxication.

TOXICITY : Extremely rare, only for levels higher than 200 ng/ml for long periods.

ACTIONS : Vitamin D is a hormone that interacts with all cells that have the specific receptor called VDR on their membrane. These receptors are found in many tissues where vitamin D acts as a metabolic regulator or as a repair stimulant in cases of inflammation (see figure 1).
VDRs are present on all lymphocyte populations where vitamin D exerts an important regulation of the immune system. Indeed:
1. has a fundamental role in the initial non-specific immune response towards pathogenic organisms or tissue damage;
2. in the Langerhans cells of the skin (dendritic cells), Vitamin D attenuates the presentation of the antigen to the T lymphocyte;
3. promotes the differentiation of T lymphocytes towards Th2 rather than Th1 with consequent less tissue damage given by the Th1 immune response;
4. regulates Th17 lymphocytes and therefore their production of IL17 which is essential for reducing inflammation and tissue damage in autoimmune disease;
5. Stimulates the generation of IL10-producing T-regulatory lymphocytes, which leads to beneficial effects in autoimmunity and transplant rejection.

Vitamin D is indicated in the treatment of vitamin D and calcium deficiency
