Isotonic and sterile solution of sea water from the Cinque Terre, indicated in cases of ocular hypersensitivity with irritation, redness, burning, itching, sensation of foreign bodies in the eye and following tearing and fatigue induced by external factors such as: exposure to wind and to sunlight, dust, smog, pollen, fumes, saltiness, dry heat, air-conditioned environments, prolonged stay in front of video screens and use of contact lenses.
It can soothe disturbances related to environmental factors. Used regularly, every four to five hours, it contributes significantly to alleviating the disturbances caused by the contact of pollen with the conjunctiva. It can also be used in the presence of contact lenses.
Isotonic sea water
It has chemical-physical characteristics similar to those of the inorganic fraction of human plasma, extracellular fluids and the aqueous component of the tear. The mineral salts dissolved in it are therefore the same that are found in the tear fluid; consequently the ion channels of the corneal and conjunctival cell membranes find, in addition to normal rehydration, the possibility of "integrating" any mineral salts and trace elements they are deficient in. Isotonic seawater therefore assumes an isoplasmic structure, which also makes it isosmotic towards cell membranes.
Sodium hyaluronate (vegetable origin)
The ability of hyaluronic acid to absorb water and "trap" it, is an important source of prolongation of rehydration.
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (vegetable origin)
Substance with humectant and lubricating action which allows a more uniform distribution of the product over the whole conjunctiva and a better sliding of the eyelid movement by slowing down the evaporation of the aqueous component of the tear film.
N-Hydroxymethyl Glycinate
Organic preservative that does not interfere with the lipid layer of the tear film, effectively counteracting the evaporation of the aqueous tear component.
It is not addictive and has no side effects.
Moisturizes, refreshes, lubricates, soothes, does not burn. Does not contain Benzalkonium chloride.
Instill 1-2 drops in the eye. In the presence of contact lenses, for a greater lubricating and soothing action, it is recommended to instill the product 5-10 minutes before applying the lenses.

The bottle can be closed again and the remaining solution can be used within 30 days of first opening.
