Cannabigerol (CBG) and Cannabidiol (CBD) are two phytocannabinoids of Cannabis without psychotropic effects . CBG is derived from the compound cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) and is one of the first cannabinoids to form in cannabis . As the plant grows, the CBGA is transformed into CBDA, or the acidic compound from which the much better known CBD derives.
