Cannabigerol (CBG) is a phytocannabinoid extracted from Cannabis and has no psychotropic effects . First discovered in 1964 by scientist Y. Gaoni, CBG derives from the compound cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) and is one of the first cannabinoids to form in cannabis.
