Propolis is a natural antiseptic substance produced by bees to insulate the cells of the hive. Thus it limits the entry of air, water, bacteria, viruses and pathogens. It can be made up of over 200 different compounds including resins, wax, essential oils, pollen, flavonoids, organic compounds, mineral salts, vitamins and other elements.
