Ribes Nigrum Essential Drops is a supplement in drops based on Ribes nigrum, a highly titrated phytotherapeutic extract. Useful in case of colds , sinusitis and seasonal allergies accompanied by the typical symptoms of allergic rhinitis : sneezing, runny nose, itching and irritation of the eyes. The highly titrated dry extracts of Ribes Nigrum Essential Drops are strictly stored in cobalt blue glass bottles. This preserves their quality and prevents degradation due to exposure to light.

Ribes nigrum, or blackcurrant , belongs to the Grossulariaceae family. It is a shrub up to 2 meters tall and is known for the properties of its fruits , scented, round and dark berries rich in seeds. In phytotherapy, the buds, leaves and fruits are used, which are recognized as having anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic and immunostimulant properties. In particular, the buds of Ribes nigrum are rich in flavonoids and glycosides. These are known to stimulate the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands. This makes them useful as a natural antihistamine and in case of inflammation due to feverish states and seasonal ailments .
