The Otovent 5-balloon + 1-cannula ear infection kit is an innovative medical device designed for the non-invasive treatment of effusion-induced otitis media (serous otitis) and to normalize middle ear pressure . The kit includes 5 Otovent latex balloons and a polypropylene nasal cannula , which must be connected before use, offering a practical and safe solution for both adults and children aged 3 and over.
Thanks to controlled nasal inflation , Otovent promotes ventilation of the Eustachian tube , helping to compensate for negative pressure in the middle ear and reduce symptoms such as fullness, ringing, whistling, and hearing impairment . The device is particularly suitable for those who suffer from ear problems related to pressure variations, such as during air travel, diving, or hyperbaric chamber treatments.
Otovent is a clinically tested and recommended solution for ear drainage and the prevention of otitis complications , reducing the need for surgery. The treatment is simple, painless, and can be performed comfortably at home, always under adult supervision if used on children. The kit is reusable and intended for personal use, ensuring hygiene and safety.
Choose Otovent kit 5 balloons + 1 otitis cannula for an effective, safe and non-invasive treatment of middle ear disorders, improving the quality of life and promoting a rapid resolution of the symptoms related to otitis media with effusion .
Dosage and method of use
How do I use the Otovent 5-balloon + 1 ear cannula kit?
For otitis media with effusion (serous): During the first week of treatment, it should be used at least 3 times a day (morning, noon, and evening), inflating each nostril each time. After one week, Otovent should be used at least twice a day (morning and evening). Treatment may continue for more than a month, and the maximum clinical effect may take several months. Consult your doctor after 2-3 weeks to decide whether treatment should be continued.
For symptom relief after a flight, dive, or hyperbaric chamber treatment: For in-flight use, Otovent should be used 3-4 times as soon as the descent begins. If symptoms persist, treatment can be continued after landing. Otovent can be used multiple times before/after a dive or during/after hyperbaric chamber treatment to relieve symptoms.

If you experience a perforated eardrum, severe headache or dizziness, sensitivity to light, and/or nausea while using Otovent, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Some patients may experience ear discomfort during inflation. This initial sensation will subside with subsequent inflation and is an indication that the procedure is working properly.
