Symbiotic means two things together: microorganisms and their nourishment. The live microorganism is theEnterococcus faecium filed as DSM 10663-NCIMB 10415, present at 6.1x10¹² CFU per kg, and it is stabilizer of the intestinal flora of the formula.

The nourishment are three different fibres, each al 4%. I fructooligosaccharides and theinulin from chicory roots they are the soluble fibers that bifidobacteria ferment; the konjac, the root of Amorphophallus konjac, brings glucomannan, a fiber that absorbs water and gives volume. Together they are useful in case of irregular transit.

Then there are three inactivated bacteria, the Lactobacillus helveticus HA-122, the Lacticaseibacillus paracasei HA-108 and the Lactiplantibacillus plantarum HA-119. Inactivated means not alive: what remains are their walls and their metabolites, which act without having to survive the gastric passage.

The capsule can be opened, and it is the practical characteristic of the product: it is administered whole directly into the mouth or it is opened and the contents are sprinkled on the food. It is the useful solution in case of animals spitting out capsules.
