Myrrh extract is attributed with natural analgesic, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is useful in case of chronic pelvic pain. It can help to combat disorders of the female genital area ( burning, redness and pain ) caused by vulvodynia, vaginal dryness, vulvovaginal atrophy, menopause, genital neuropathy.
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a phytocannabinoid extracted from Cannabis and has no psychotropic effects . First discovered in 1964 by scientist Y. Gaoni, CBG derives from the compound cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) and is one of the first cannabinoids to form in cannabis. As the plant grows, CBGA transforms into CBDA, the acidic compound from which the much better known CBD is derived.
It is important to underline that, although CBD and CBG have similar beneficial effects on the body , from the studies carried out it seems that each of the two has a different efficacy based on the pathology for which they are used. In fact, CBG seems to have more marked effects in the presence of localized inflammatory pathologies that induce persistent painful states . The reason seems to be the combination of anti-inflammatory properties and, in particular, natural analgesic properties that are more pronounced in CBG than those of CBD. On the contrary, CBD is better in the presence of neurological pathologies that involve the central nervous system, such as epilepsy.
Finally, CBG is attributed with important antimicrobial properties that can be useful in the presence of infections caused by bacteria such as Escherichia coli, the main cause of cystitis.
For this reason, CBG is a more suitable choice than CBD in the presence of genital pathologies such as Vulvodynia, Pelvic Neuropathy and symptoms of Pelvic Contracture.
Vitamin E , or tocopherol, promotes the re-epithelialization of the mucous membranes with its dermoprotective and antioxidant properties.
Sweet almond oil is obtained by cold pressing the best organic sweet almonds. The high concentration of unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, vitamins E, B, amino acids, carbohydrates, mineral salts, linoleic and oleic acid make almond oil an excellent remedy for nourishing the skin , fighting skin and mucous membrane aging and contributing to tissue cell renewal . The excellent hydrating and emollient properties of sweet almond oil act effectively on dry skin, helping to make tissues elastic and protected and soothe local irritations even in cases of dryness, discomfort and genital irritation .
