HOW TO USE

How do I use Pediapax 20 Sachets Powder for Constipation in Children?

Chronic constipation. The usual starting dose is half a sachet a day in children between 2 and 6 years of age one sachet a day from 7 years of age, dissolved in 125 ml of non-carbonated water (about 1 glass) for the whole sachet and in 62.5 ml (about half a glass) for the half sachet. Known side effects. Gastrointestinal disorders such as abdominal pain, borborygmi, diarrhea or loose stools may appear, especially in the initial phase of use, as well as nausea, mild vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence, inflammation and perianal irritation: effects which normally improve by reducing the dose. Very rarely, allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, and other symptoms such as itching, urticaria and dyspnoea have been observed. Contraindications and limitations of use.
