INDICATIONS

Polyneuritis due to Vitamin B1, B6 and B12 deficiency states.

 

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Each hard capsule contains: Active ingredients: Benzoyloxymethylthiamine 100 mg Pyridoxine hydrochloride 150 mg Cyanocobalamin 500 mcg Excipient with known effects: Sunset yellow . For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.

 

EXCIPIENTS

Talc, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol 6000. Each cap contains: Head: Titanium dioxide (E171), sunset yellow (E110), gelatin. Body: Titanium dioxide (E171), sunset yellow (E110), gelatin.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients listed in paragraph 6.1.

 

DOSAGE

Usually 1 capsule 3 times a day.

 

CONSERVATION

This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.

 

WARNINGS

Caution is recommended when administering to subjects undergoing treatment with levodopa because pyridoxine can antagonize its therapeutic effects. Keep out of reach of children. Neuraben contains sunset yellow (E110) which may cause allergic reactions.

 

INTERACTIONS

Vitamin B6 can antagonize the therapeutic effects of levodopa.

Neuraben is generally well tolerated and no toxic and accumulation effects are known.
