Hyalone Hyaluronic Acid 60 mg / 4 ml it's one sterile viscoelastic solution based on hyaluronic acid sodium salt obtained by bacterial fermentation from a high molecular weight fraction. It is referred to as temporary substitute for synovial fluid for the treatment of pain and the improvement of joint function in patients suffering from degenerative or mechanical arthropathies of the hip and knee.
Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide belonging to the glycosaminoglycan family, naturally present in numerous human tissues, including cartilage and synovial fluid. Inside the joint it contributes to maintaining the viscosity and elasticity of the synovial fluid, carrying out a fundamental function of lubricant and shock absorber to protect cartilage and soft tissue from mechanical damage.
In the presence of traumatic or degenerative joint pathologies, the quantity of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid decreases, reducing its viscoelastic properties and causing pain and limitation of mobility. Intra-articular administration of Hyalone helps restore these properties, helping to reduce painful symptoms and improve the functionality of the joint.
The therapeutic effect can persist up to 6 months. Treatment must be carried out exclusively by specialized medical personnel.
Directions
