Thermoformable means that the material softens when heated and hardens when cooled. This is the difference with a cream: the heated mass shapes itself on the surface of the prosthesis and on the profile of the ridge, and when cooled it remains in that shape. HOW TO USE

How do I use DinaBase7 Thermoformable Adhesive and Relining for Dentures and Dentures 20 g?

1. Heat the tube and clean the prosthesis. Completely immerse the tube in warm, but not boiling, water for a few minutes at one temperature maximum of 60 °C. In the meantime, carefully clean the entire surface of the prosthesis with soap and water, brush it and dry it well: it must be dry and perfectly clean.

2. Open the tube. Pierce it with the pointed end of the cork, creating a large, round hole.

3. Take a dose. Squeeze the tube and release a ball of adhesive the size of a large cherry.

4. Distribute. Place the portion in the center of the denture and spread it with both thumbs in an even layer, pressing firmly along all edges. For the upper denture the adhesive must cover the entire surface; for the lower prosthesis a strip must be modeled to fill the cavity.

5. Enter. Wet your mouth thoroughly, position the denture, close your teeth and make firm movements with your lips, so that the excess product comes out of the edges.

6. Finish. Rinse the denture under cold running water for a few minutes, then cut the excess material along the edges with scissors.

Replacement. To remove the material, immerse the denture in hot water at a maximum of 60°C for 5 minutes and remove the old layer. Do not immerse your denture in boiling water: this could damage it permanently. If necessary, use a blunt instrument, such as a teaspoon, to avoid scratching the denture.

Do not use in case of allergies or hypersensitivity to the ingredients, in particular to ethyl alcohol (ethanol).

Do not use on nylon prostheses: it could damage them. The product loses adhesion on prostheses with metal parts.

If the thickness of the gum is too thin, or if the bone is exposed, the suction effect is not possible and adhesion is not guaranteed.

If your gums are inflamed or you have cuts in your mouth, contact can cause a burning sensation: it is advisable to treat these wounds as soon as possible.

At the first application you may feel a burning sensation, due to a mild disinfectant action. Remove the denture and place it under a jet of cold water for a few minutes, then rinse your mouth again before putting it back on: the burning sensation will disappear.
