INDICATIONS

Prophylaxis and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency (pregnancy, breastfeeding, artificial feeding of infants, tendency to hemorrhage due to capillary fragility). Adjuvant in the treatment of stomatitis and gingivitis.

 

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Each capsule contains: 500 mg ascorbic acid in long-release microbeads.

 

EXCIPIENTS

Microbead excipients: sucrose, shellac, talc, starch, tartaric acid. Gelatin capsule excipients: gelatin, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, erythrosine, quinoline yellow.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

 

DOSAGE

One capsule of C-TARD in the morning and one capsule in the evening. Do not exceed the recommended doses.

 

CONSERVATION

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C

 

WARNINGS

Ascorbic acid can interfere, at high doses, with the results of some diagnostic tests (in particular the test for glucose in the urine with non-specific means). The product contains sucrose, this should be taken into account in diabetic patients and in patients following a low-calorie diet. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

 

INTERACTIONS

Problems related to interaction with other drugs have never been highlighted.

 

SIDE EFFECTS
