Thanks to its active ingredient, 2% fenticonazole nitrate , Lomexin spray acts rapidly against a wide range of pathogens responsible for dermatomycosis (such as Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton ), cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor . Its cutaneous solution in a 30 ml bottle with nebulizer ensures easy application even on hard-to-reach areas and on hairy areas, such as the scalp .
Lomexin spray is particularly indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections such as tinea capitis , tinea corporis , tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris , tinea manuum , tinea faciei , tinea barbae and tinea unguium . It is also effective against skin candidiasis (intertrigo, diaper candidiasis, perleche, facial, perineal and scrotal candidiasis), balanitis , balanoposthitis , onychia and paronychia . The spray formulation allows for uniform distribution of the product, without greasing or staining the skin or clothes, and is easily removable with water.
The presence of propylene glycol among the excipients helps improve the skin penetration of the active ingredient, while the alcoholic solution promotes rapid drying. Lomexin 2% cream, Lomexin 2% skin spray, solution, Lomexin 2% skin solution, Lomexin 1% and 2% skin powder: • Dermatomycosis caused by dermatophytes ( Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton ) at different locations: tinea capitis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea manuum, tinea faciei, tinea barbae, tinea unguium . – Skin candidiasis (intertrigo, perleche, facial candidiasis, "diaper" candidiasis, perineal and scrotal candidiasis); balanitis, balanoposthitis; onychia and paronychia. – Pityriasis versicolor (caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and P. ovale ). – Otomycosis (caused by Candida or mould); only if there are no lesions of the eardrum. – Erythrasma. – Mycosis with bacterial superinfections (from Gram-positive bacteria).CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Quantity and method of taking Lomexin 20 mg/g 30 ml cutaneous spray solution - How to take Lomexin 20 mg/g 30 ml cutaneous spray solution?
Lomexin should be applied 1–2 times a day, according to the doctor's advice, after washing and drying the affected area, using the formulation suitable for the location of the lesion. Lomexin 2% cream – is indicated for the treatment of hairless skin, skin folds and mucous membranes; it is applied by lightly rubbing. It is used preferably for dry mycoses: pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma, onychomycosis (in onychomycosis the cream should be applied with an occlusive dressing); the cream is suitable for use in male genital mycoses. Lomexin 2% skin spray, solution and 2% skin solution – are indicated for localizations on the scalp and for skin areas covered with hair. The skin spray solution is also easy and convenient to use for extensive mycoses and for areas that are difficult to reach. Lomexin 1% and 2% skin powder – is used for athlete's foot and in general for intertriginous areas and for moist lesions, both as a single treatment and as a complement to the cream. In case of foot infections, it is recommended to sprinkle Lomexin powder also on the inside of socks and shoes. Lomexin 1% skin powder is indicated for the prophylaxis of reinfections. In case of athlete's foot and onychomycosis, in order to avoid reinfections, it is advisable to continue the above treatment for another one or two weeks after the disappearance of the symptoms. Lomexin is not greasy, does not stain and is easily removable with water.CONSERVATION
