Curasept AfteRapid+ Mouthwash Aphthous and Aphthous Stomatitis 125 ml it's a mouthwash medical device for them canker sores and the aphthous stomatitis, formulated with DNA/RNA e hyaluronic acid at three molecular weights. Relieves pain, forms a protective barrier over the injury and helps regenerate the oral mucosa: it is designed for widespread action, when the lesions are multiple or recurring.

Mouthwash is astable emulsion: not a simple aqueous solution, but a system in which a fatty phase remains dispersed in the water. Upon contact with the mucosa, that phase settles and forms a lipid film on the lesion, which is the reason for its substantivity, i.e. the ability to remain in place after rinsing, with amechanical action that lasts over time.

What builds that film are the emollients and waxes in the formula, i.e. dicaprylyl ether, coco-caprylate, glyceryl stearate, cetyl palmitate and cetearyl alcohol: they are the molecules that remain on the mucosa when the water leaves, and which keep the lesion separated from the mechanical contact of food and the tongue. The lipid film is useful in case of painful canker sores, lesions exposed to rubbing and mucosa to be protected while it heals.

The DNA/RNA of the formula are polynucleotides, i.e. fragments of nucleic acids used in regenerative medicine as a substrate for epithelial cells: they stimulate the repair and growth of epithelial cells. Thehyaluronic acid, present here at three molecular weights different, it is the polysaccharide that retains water in the extracellular matrix and regulates tissue hydration: it counteracts inflammation and reduces pain. DNA/RNA and hyaluronic acid are useful in cases of recurrent canker sores, thinned oral mucosa and injuries from orthodontic appliances or prostheses.

The formula is completed by18β-glycyrrhetinic acid, which comes from licorice root; theallantoin, known as soothing on the mucous membranes; the betaglucan; the ruscogenin of butcher's broom extract; the bisabolol, which is the soothing component of chamomile; and two essential oils, theManuka oil and thetea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia). These active ingredients are useful in case of inflamed gums, irritated mucosa and oral hygiene during a canker sore.

HOW TO USE
