FOILLE INSETTI must be used externally only. Do not apply to mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes. In children under 2 years of age, FOILLE INSETTI must be used only after consulting your doctor and evaluating with him the risk/benefit ratio in your case. It is good practice to avoid prolonged use of FOILLE INSETTI, especially on large surfaces. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use can give rise to irritation or sensitization phenomena. In this case, it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and consult your doctor in order to establish an appropriate therapy. If skin irritation appears, it is necessary to suspend the treatment. After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Cases of pheochromocytoma crisis, which can be fatal, have occurred after administration of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids must be administered to patients with suspected or confirmed pheochromocytoma, only after an adequate risk/benefit assessment. Visual disturbances Visual disturbances may be reported with the use of systemic and topical corticosteroids. If a patient presents with symptoms such as blurred vision or other visual disturbances, the patient should be considered for referral to an ophthalmologist for evaluation of possible causes which may include cataract, glaucoma or rare diseases such as central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR), which have been reported after the use of systemic and topical corticosteroids. Foille Insetti contains cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol and lanolin which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).INTERACTIONS

As with all topical preparations, local sensitization reactions may occur. In general, topical application of corticosteroids does not cause clinical evidence of systemic absorption. When applied to large surfaces, or for prolonged periods of time, or to non-intact skin, or under occlusive dressings, hydrocortisone may be absorbed in quantities sufficient to cause systemic effects. Undesirable effects due to Corticosteroids The frequency of undesirable effects is classified as follows: very common (≥1/10); common (≥1/100, <1/10); uncommon (≥1/1,000, <1/100); rare (≥1/10,000, <1/1,000); very rare (<1/10,000) and not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data). Endocrine disorders Not known: pheochromocytoma crisis (see section 4.4). Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders Not known: urticaria. Eye disorders Not known: blurred vision, central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR), (see section 4.4).
