Quantity and method of taking Canesten 1% 30g cream - How to take Canesten 1% 30g cream?
Cream Canesten cream should be applied in small quantities 2-3 times a day to the affected area, rubbing lightly, after having washed and dried the area thoroughly. Half a cm of cream is sufficient to treat a surface the size of a hand. The cream is specifically indicated for the treatment of hairless skin areas. Skin spray solution The skin spray solution is useful for the treatment of hairy skin areas and skin folds. It is also indicated for application on large areas of the body (back, abdomen, chest). Canesten skin spray solution should be sprayed evenly on the area to be treated 2 times a day. Skin powder Canesten powder should be applied 2-3 times a day, after having washed and dried the affected area thoroughly. In case of athlete's foot, it is recommended to also sprinkle Canesten powder on the inside of socks and shoes. Generally, a period of treatment without interruption of three to four weeks is sufficient for the symptoms to disappear. In order to consolidate the therapeutic results obtained and avoid reinfections, it is advisable to continue therapy with Canesten for at least two weeks after the disappearance of the symptoms.CONSERVATION

Warnings Canesten 1 % 30 g cream - About Canesten 1 % 30 g cream it is important to know that:
Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use, may give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case, it is necessary to stop the treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. In case of diaper rash, the use of occlusive diapers after applying the drug is not recommended. In case of relapses, consult your doctor. After three - four weeks of continuous use without appreciable results, consult your doctor. Canesten cutaneous spray solution: avoid spraying in the eyes. Important information about some of the excipients Canesten cream contains: • cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis); • 20 mg/g of benzyl alcohol: - may cause allergic reactions; - may cause slight local irritation. Canesten Spray 1% cutaneous solution (multi-dose container with metering pump) contains 546 mg/ml propylene glycol: - may cause skin irritation. Since this medicine contains propylene glycol, do not use it on open wounds or large areas of damaged skin (such as burns) without talking to your doctor or pharmacist.INTERACTIONS

The following adverse reactions have been identified since the approval of clotrimazole. Immune system disorders: angioedema, anaphylactic reaction, hypersensitivity Vascular disorders: hypotension, syncope Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: dyspnoea Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: blisters, contact dermatitis, erythema, paraesthesia, skin desquamation, pruritus, rash, urticaria, stinging skin pain, skin burning sensation. General disorders and administration site conditions: application site irritation, application site reaction, oedema, pain. Overdose Canesten 1% 30g cream - What are the risks of Canesten 1% 30g cream in case of overdose?
No risk of acute intoxication is expected since it is unlikely to occur after a single topical application of an overdose (extensive application under conditions favorable to absorption) or by inadvertent oral intake. There is no specific antidote.PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking Canesten 1% 30g cream.
Fertility No studies on the effects of clotrimazole on fertility have been conducted in humans; however, animal studies have shown no effects of the drug on fertility. Pregnancy Clinical data in pregnant women are limited, animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to reproductive toxicity (see Preclinical safety data). Clotrimazole can be used during pregnancy. However, during the first trimester of pregnancy, it is recommended to start treatment only under medical supervision. Breastfeeding No data are available on the excretion of clotrimazole in breast milk. However, systemic absorption is minimal after topical administration and systemic effects are unlikely to occur. Clotrimazole can be used during breastfeeding. If used locally on the nipple area, wash the breast before feeding the baby.DRIVING AND USE OF MACHINERY
