Arnica montana is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Compositae family that grows spontaneously in the Alpine and pre-Alpine regions. The active ingredients contained in Arnica (flavonoids, triterpenes, sesquiterpene lactones) give it natural anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and analgesic properties .
