Frangula Plus is the supplement based on phytotherapeutic extract with high titration of frangula, enriched with high titration extracts of senna, fennel, licorice and chamomile. The buckthorn, or frangula , is a plant of the Rhamnaceae family. Its bark contains anthraquinone glycosides, substances poorly absorbed by the stomach and small intestine, which are activated in the large intestine. Here the bacterial flora transforms them into anthrons , which are truly responsible for the well-known laxative and regularizing properties of the plant.
